City of Kellogg Ridge View, unit #405 at The Ridge of Silver Valley, is permitted as a vacation rental through the City of Kellogg, ID. The permit number is 21-21. The city of Kellogg requires guests pay a 3.5% Local Option (LOC) Tax for all stays 30 days or less.   Wifi The Wifi name is Frontier4288. The password is 3287513194. You are welcome to login to any streaming account available. As a reminder, ensure you log-out prior to your departure. Garbage Collection Place garbage in the dumpster located in the parking lot as needed. Though it’s not required to empty the garage upon your departure, please do not leave overflow garbage in the unit. Good Neighbor Policy Please see the included Good Neighbor Policy for details regarding Kellogg’s requirements. Note that parking is only allowed in designated spaces in the parking lot in front of the main entrance of The Ridge. Street parking is permitted on McKinnley Avenue. Outdoor Recreation You are in one of the best areas in the Northwest for outdoor activities!  Please let us know if you have any questions about the area. Bike and ski/ board gear storage is available at the bottom level. Outdoor gear is not allowed in the units and locker number 4 is available for your use. The combination is 1954. You may use any open bike rack. Gear transport to and from the storage room is only permitted through its designated door. Bikes, skis, snowboards, and any other recreational equipment is not allowed in any other area of the building. When standing at the main entrance, it is the far left door located at the corner of the building. It will be locked and a key is located in the unit on a hook in the corner of the lower cabinets. The door can also be opened from the inside. If you require additional storage space or a more secure area, the storage room immediately to the right of the main doors as you enter is available. The key labeled with a star that is included provided with the spa keys will get you in. This room is less utilized and less visible.  Pets Pets are not permitted at the Ridge View unit.  Closed Space One closet in the unit is locked and unavailable for guest use. Spa and Saunas Guests are welcome to the spa and saunas any time. Quiet hours are between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. White spa towels are provided. Appropriate and clean attire is required. No glass containers or food is permitted. Laundry Guest laundry is available in on the first floor in the gear storage room. The combination to the door is 1963. Please be considerate when using this service.  Central Air The air conditioning and heater for the building is on one primary system. Individual units can adjust the thermostat three degrees warmer or cooler than 72 degrees. In times of excessive use or high outdoor temperatures, the building’s central air breaker may trip, causing units’ AC to turn off and the heater to turn on. This is a simple fix by resetting the unit’s individual system. Pull the red level in the closet next to the unit door and leave it for about 20 seconds. Return it to the up position and the AC should turn back on. Helpful Information Extra batteries are kept in the freezer for the TV remote. A fire extinguisher is located in the lower cabinet next to the dishwasher. Check-in/ Check-out ID Haven offers self check-in and checkout. Host will provide combination numbers to access the main building door, unit door, and spa/ sauna area. Guests can check in as early as 3:00 pm on the first day of the reservation. Guests must vacate the property by 11:00 am on the last day of the reservation. Lock codes will be deleted at this time. Please ensure all personal belongings are removed prior to departure. It’s appreciated to alert the cleaning staff of your departure by manually check-outing at www.checkoutbnb.com using the code provided in the welcome email.
